Stephanie Bashir
Stephanie Bashir has over two decades of experience in the Australian energy sector with extensive experience in commercial, regulation, energy policy, government and stakeholder engagement. She is the Founder and CEO of Nexa Advisory advising a broad range of public and private clients including renewable energy developers, investors and climate impact philanthropists to help accelerate efforts towards a clean energy transition.

Dan Cass
Dan is a leader in the clean energy transition. He has advised investors, wind companies and the rooftop solar sector and worked on energy market reform at The Australia Institute. He has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in science history from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Energy and Resources Law from Melbourne Law School and is a Research Affiliate at the University of Sydney Business School. In January 2023 Dan was appointed as the first executive director of Rewiring Australia.

Mark Cubit
Mark Cubit is the inaugural Chair of Electrify Boroondara. Mark has been active in the International giving space since 2005. In that time, foundations he has managed have funded over 200 NGOs in 38 countries. Mark’s current responsibilities are with Partners For Equity, Cubit Family Foundation, Ripple Foundation, Planet Wheeler Foundation, Crap Foundation and he is Chair of The School of St Jude.
Prior to his involvement in the philanthropic community, Mark was Managing Director, Australian Equities at Merrill Lynch Equities for 15 years.

The Honourable Lily D’Ambrosio, Minister for Climate Action, Minister for Energy and Resources, Minister for the State Electricity Commission

Ross de Rango
Ross is the Head of Energy and Infrastructure at the Electric Vehicle Council. He is a robotics engineer by background and has spent the last seven years getting involved wherever the standards, codes and regulations relating to the infrastructure supporting EVs in Australia is being considered. Ross and his wife own a Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in hybrid and a Polestar, and live in Melbourne.

Tristan Edis
Tristan Edis is the Director - Analysis and Advisory at Green Energy Markets. Tristan’s involvement in the clean energy sector and related government climate change and energy policy issues began back in 2000. He has worked at the Australian Government’s Greenhouse Office, the Clean Energy Council; Ernst & Young, helped establish the energy research program at the Grattan Institute, and ran a website providing news and analysis on energy and carbon market issues called Climate Spectator.

Tim Forcey is a home comfort and energy adviser, researcher and author. His expertise is widely sought and accessed by individuals, community groups, businesses, government bodies, members of Parliament and media. Tim founded and contributes to the thriving My Efficient Electric Home online community. Following roles with government, the University of Melbourne, and not-for-profit organisations, Tim now thoroughly enjoys helping people make important changes in their own homes.

Matt Fregon
Matt Fregon is the State Member for Ashwood. Matt was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2018. He is the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly since December 2022.
Matt will be taking part in the panel of Electrify Boroondara alliance members in the Welcome from the Mayor and Members of Parliament.

Saul Griffith
Dr. Saul Griffith is the Co Founder and Chief Scientist, Rewiring Australia, a father of two, and an engineer and entrepreneur specialising in clean and renewable energy technologies. Saul has founded a dozen technology companies across 20 years in Silicon Valley. Saul is the author of 3 books including `Electrify', and `The Big Switch'. Saul has recently turned his attention from Otherlab, his independent Research and Development lab, to policy work and writing, including founding Rewiring America and Rewiring Australia, non-partisan organizations dedicated to electrification and decarbonization and the associated policy and regulatory implications of meeting our climate goals.

Lisa Hollingsworth
Is a Fellow Graduate, Australian Institute Company Directors and holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Business working predominantly in the field of quality designed sustainable, high energy efficient refurbished homes.
In addition, Lisa has made significant contributions to her community as a Boroondara Councillor/Mayor actively participating on numerous committees.
Lisa will be taking part in the panel of Electrify Boroondara alliance members in the Welcome from the Mayor and Members of Parliament.

Stan Krpan
Stan, CEO of Solar Victoria, is responsible for the delivery of the Victorian Government’s flagship $1.3 billion Solar Homes Program and a range of household incentive programs.
Prior to this, Stan was the CEO of Sustainability Victoria for eight years, where he led a significant expansion and grew the agency’s footprint and impact in the areas of climate change, renewables, energy-efficiency, and waste and recycling.
Stan has undertaken high-profile reform roles for the Victorian Government in building and planning, most recently as the Co-Chair of the Building Victoria’s Recovery Taskforce and as CEO of the Victorian Cladding Taskforce. In 2010, Stan undertook an independent review of EPA Victoria’s compliance and enforcement activity.

John Pesutto
John grew up as the son of working-class Italian immigrants in the La Trobe Valley. He worked hard at school and went on to study law at the University of Melbourne. He built a legal career in both the public and private sectors. He is husband to his wife Betty, and they have raised their three daughters in the local community. In 2022 John was re-elected as the Member for Hawthorn and then the Leader of the Victorian Opposition. He was proud to take an ambitious climate and energy agenda to the last election and is passionate about seeing Victoria reach net-zero in a sustainable, equitable, efficient, and economically responsible way.
John will be joining the Welcome from the Mayor and Members of Parliament and chairing the EV Panel - Driving Progress - The Current State and Future of Electric Vehicles

Monique Ryan
Monique Ryan is the independent Member for Kooyong. She is a paediatric neurologist and former director of neurology at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital. Since entering parliament, Ryan has advocated for a range of issues, and proposed a private member's bill to improve integrity in government. She has been particularly vocal on issues of climate change, health, and anti-corruption policy. Ryan has also been prominent in calling for reforms in the HECS system, and created a petition on the issue that has gained more than 260,000 signatures.

Phil Storer
Phil Storer is the CEO at the City of Boroondara and has been in this role for more than 12 years.
Phil has also been Director City Planning and Director Infrastructure over a long period of service to the Boroondara community. He is a qualified urban planner and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course, Cranlana and a course in strategic leadership at Harvard University.
Phil is passionate about the environment having created Boroondara’s first environmental sustainability team in 1997 when not many local governments were thinking about these issues at the time.

Tim Washington
Tim Washington is the co-founder and CEO of JET Charge, Australia's largest EV Charging Infrastructure and Technology business. Tim was also the co-founder of Chargefox, Australia's largest EV charging network, and the former Chair of the Electric Vehicle Council, the peak body for the EV industry in Australia.

Tony Wood
Tony has been Director of the Energy Program since 2011 after 14 years working at Origin Energy in senior executive roles.
From 2009 to 2014 he was also Program Director of Clean Energy Projects at the Clinton Foundation, advising governments in the Asia-Pacific region on effective deployment of large-scale, low-emission energy technologies. In 2008, he was seconded to provide an industry perspective to the first Garnaut climate change review.
