Saul also has had a strong focus on electrification national policy and advocacy, including founding Rewiring America, Rewiring Australia and Rewiring Aotearoa, non-partisan organisations dedicated to electrification and decarbonisation.

With 25 years of experience in energy markets and policy reform, including as a senior executive at AGL Energy, Elizabeth has demonstrated significant expertise in energy wholesale and retail markets, network regulation, new energy technologies and consumer protection frameworks.

Dr Simonis is also a practising general practitioner, a researcher with the University of Melbourne Department of General Practice, an experienced media contributor and health columnist for The Australian.
