Retrofitting apartment buildings

  • Level 1, The Chamber room, Hawthorn Arts Centre 360 Burwood Road Hawthorn, VIC, 3122 Australia (map)

This free session is presented by Amy Brand, sustainability facilitator and strata advocate from Let Me Be Frank.

Spaces are limited and registrations are essential.

Retrofitting individual apartments and common areas for electrification in a shared building can be a complex but rewarding journey. From navigating shared infrastructure and owners corporation approvals to design and space limitations. If you own an apartment or want to learn more about retrofitting, join this session covering helpful resources and highlighting exhibitors you can visit at the Electrify Your Life expo, where this session is being held, who can support your journey.

If you've completed or are working on an energy upgrade, you'll also be invited to share your story and take part in an online poll during the session to discuss ways forward and explore barriers to your own retrofitting action.
