Expo ‘24 - recap

Over 1100 people from Boroondara and the wider Melbourne community flocked to Expo ‘24 on Sunday 8 September 2024, along with 350 stall holders, speakers, experts and volunteers on the day.

There were 16 electric vehicles to explore, 10 ebikes to test drive, 32 experts providing one-on-one chats, hourly induction cooktop demonstrations, 20 speakers across five panel sessions, family friendly activities and over 50 stall holders - commercial providers as well as government and not-for profit groups. 

Something for everyone …

  • 95% of attendees visited the stalls

  • 40% visited one or more panel sessions

  • 30% chatted with experts at the Ask Me Anything Hub

  • 57% visited the electric vehicles

  • 100% of stallholders said they’d be interested in coming back, and

  • 95% of visitors found the information they were looking for.

“We learnt a lot and now need to reflect and digest before we take the next steps. We also gained some fantastic contacts which we will definitely be reaching out to as we progress our electrification journey.”
